Danny is an excellent real estate agent, and his communication skills and knowledge in his role are great. He is aware of our budget when looking to buy a home in San Jose, and he mapped out a route of a couple of possible homes to tour, all within our budget. He is very knowledgeable about the housing market. He does a lot of research regarding the prices around the neighborhood before giving us an idea of what to put down as an offer and whether or not to continue bidding. If I need to buy a home within a month, I'd trust Danny to find the right place or tell me to wait when none on the market meets my requirements. I had the pleasure of working with Danny to find my dream home in 2020. Danny really took the time to understand what I was looking for. He drove me around different neighborhoods talking about the pros and cons of each neighborhood which really helped me narrow down on what I like and what I don't. Showings during the pandemic were challenging, but Danny made it a breeze every time by being proactive and booking a showing. Every time I looked at a home, he was there even before I showed up making a note of different things about the home that fit or didn't fit my criteria. He gave valuable feedback on the home when asked which really helped. I have worked with other agents in the past where I felt pressured after seeing a home to place an offer, but Danny was very different. He was extremely patient. There was no pressure which really put me at ease working with him. Even when I felt disheartened, he always reassured and encouraged me to be patient and that I will find my dream home. His positive attitude and patience made it so comfortable to work with him. In Sept 2020, he did help find my dream home! We were very lucky to find Danny as our realtor. As first-time house searchers, with not much of a clue at the outset of our search, it was only Danny’s experience and demeanor that made the process possible for us. He was extremely approachable and always available — always making time for us be it over the phone, or, arranging house showings at the drop of a hat. We were extremely grateful for his presence in the showings — he made many observations that we would have likely missed that deserved serious thought. His great insights throughout shaped our search. He latched very quickly onto things that we liked in houses and all his suggestions for houses to visit during our search were houses that we really liked. We really appreciated that he was patient with us as our house search dragged on for a bit. At times we felt a bit jaded and Danny was perceptive of this, but still not pushy. Rather than try to force the issue, Danny took more and more initiative during these times to ensure that we didn’t give up on the search. For example, he would give us video tours of houses that he felt we’d like, allowing us to remain actively searching while still resting on some weekends. Finally, we identified exactly what parameters were key for us and began submitting offers. Danny was an excellent negotiator and mediator - he set up good strategies for each offer we made and always kept us informed of how things were shaping up by being in close contact with the seller’s agent. Some of our offers were not accepted, but, Danny was always able to reach out to us and inform us about what the current offer numbers were looking like. Thus, we felt we had full knowledge when making decisions about subsequent offers. Finally, for the offer that was accepted, Danny showed great strategy, initiative, and drive to make things happen. Danny was the most important reason that, even amidst a pandemic, we had a wonderful (and very educational) house search experience. We emerged at the end of it all having gained both a place to call home and a trusted friend.
